Preserving the spirit that built America
We protect the stories, faith, and freedoms that shaped this nation so that your children and grandchildren inherit courage instead of confusion.
For families, churches, and citizens who refuse to forget where liberty of conscience came from.
America is losing her memory
A nation that forgets who she is cannot remain the same nation for long. When the true story of faith, conscience, and sacrifice is erased, we leave the next generation with a hollow shell and call it history.
The American Providence Foundation exists to preserve the conscience of the Republic. We recover neglected stories, guard the record of liberty of conscience, and pass it on through film, curriculum, and public teaching.
The goal is simple. That your children and grandchildren will know where freedom came from, what it cost, and why it must never be surrendered.
On the actual site, this column becomes your embedded mission trailer or hero video. In Squarespace you’d use a Video block or Background Video section here.
Liberty of conscience was dearly bought
Before there was a Constitution, there were men and women who risked everything to obey God rather than men.
Banished for conscience
Driven from Massachusetts for his convictions, he planted a colony built on liberty of conscience and a clear line between church authority and civil power.
Pen and pulpit
A Baptist pastor who wrote, preached, and petitioned for freedom in an age when the state still taxed consciences and bound churches by law.
Miles for liberty
A frontier preacher who walked and rode across states to defend the rights of all believers and helped press liberty of conscience into the American experiment.
We do not worship these men. We honor their courage and carry their work forward.
From hidden archives to the living room
Every project moves along one clear path. Preserve what was almost lost. Teach it clearly. Mobilize those who hear.
Preserve
We recover and protect neglected pieces of American religious history. Archival research, rare manuscripts, on-site documentation, and story capture so the original record is not buried under revision and neglect.
Educate
We create films, series, lectures, and resources for churches, families, and schools. Serious history made visually compelling and accessible without flattening or sanitizing it.
Mobilize
We turn viewers into custodians of memory through heritage tours, live events, fellowships, and tools that help ordinary citizens stand for truth in their own time and place.
From bystander to custodian of memory
This is not a spectator crowd. American Providence is a fellowship of men and women who refuse to let the record of liberty be erased in their generation.

Why this work matters
If we do not teach our children where this liberty came from, someone else will teach them that it never mattered.

Where will history remember you
There is a generation rising that has never heard the true story of liberty of conscience in America. You can help change that.
